JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Tasks:
* Major Networks Elements supported are: BSC, BTS, Microwave radios of NSN technologies; Flexi Edge Radio 2G and; 3G
* Specialized support (troubleshooting, diagnostics, etc.) to NOC monitoring and field maintenance teams (subcontractors)
* Correct Radio network faults in and performance degradations as per SLA requirements
* Escalation point from First Line Maintenance and Monitoring for BSC/RAN issues
* Working on BSC/RNC daily maintenance checks
* In depth analysis and troubleshooting of Performance Management report in conjunction with CM/PM team
* Responsible for co-operating with the technical support (upgrades, faults) of 3rd party equipment and Care
* 24/7 availability in case of major or critical faults or upgrades and retrofits.
* Provides technical support to CM & Planning to plan/execute network HW/SW changes (i.e. rehomings (BSC/BTS and MGW/BSC)
* Liaise with PM/CM, field teams and subcontractors, to correct radio Network faults and performance degradations as per Service Level
* Acceptances of the BSS/RAN from delivery on or before handover to operations
* Support to the remote and on-site restoration of network element functionality as defined in the agreed escalation plans
* Test plan for call, functionality, etc., after changes. Verification of test results after changes.
