Job Description:
Job definition:
The Fault Administration support the Fault and Change Management Functions in the corresponding District to minimise the downtime of network elements during fault resolution and service affecting works, in accordance with SLA agreed SLA levels.
Main Responsibility Areas:
• Carry out all the necessary proactive coordinations and control activities in the District for and end-to-end timely fault resolution under the Fault Management process
• Carry out all the necessary coordinations and controls for planned works scheduled and approved by Change Management team in coordination with Customer teams.
• Tool inventory and Field subcontractors
Key Tasks:
• Allocation of field based staff to rectify faults including co-ordination of clearance actions
• Control of all planned works in the district approved and scheduled by Change Management teams
• Upkeep of site information on sites database in coordination with Configuration Management: Site location and directions, access type and times, landlord names and contacts, etc.
• Preventive maintenance control as per PMR database
• Inventory management (tools, cars, phones, laptops, etc)
• Responsible for site access and key allocation.
• Co-ordination of all scheduled maintenance activities on the district.
• Full adherence to Field Operations processes and procedures
• Reporting to District Manager
• Liaise with NOC teams and Configuration Management.
