SELEK Telecom is looking for experienced Ericsson 2G (GSM) Radio Network Design (RND) Engineers with good overall knowledge of GSM architecture for projects across Africa.
Candidates must be able to create a High level Network Design, and will be able to provide the following:
Design Assumptions, Design Overview and Design Parameters, Target Network Architecture Design, Capacity and utilisation values, Network Impacts, Network Topology, Transmission and Synchronisation Requirements, Resilience and Redundancy, Network Management Design, RND to ensure the Performance and Capacity targets are met, while maintaining existing coverage.
Candidates must be very experienced with Ericsson features and parameters, including very experienced in Mapinfo, TCPU (Tems cell planner universal),TEMS investigation, SecureCRT, MOSHELL, Comand Prompts,OSS, Generation of Coverage plots, Monte-carlo simulation, RF knowledge about 2G/3G coexistence and co-siting, Frequency Planning, Neighbour Planning, CDD and CR scripts generatation, P6/P7 knowledge, PSC planning, Location area and routing area planning, 2G-2G and 3G-2G Neighbor lists definition, Radio coverage plotting with TCPU & Planet EV and strong knowledge of common ericsson planning tools (TCPU, mapinfo)
Candidates must be able to do presentations and participate in technical discussions with customers, participate in customer projects, handling scope, risks, changes and customer expectations as well as preparation of Cell Description Data necessary for integration of site to network.
