ALU Technical Experience: Should have experience BSS release B9 Should have excellent command on Radio Network tuning and design procedures and techniques. Should have very good experience on parameters and new features Optimizing RF related parameters such as HSN, MAIO, BCCH and frequency retuning by analyzing drive logs Performance stats/KPI analysis: for TCH, SD drop calls, TCH, SDCCH congestion, location Area update, handover success rate and paging. Analyzing and optimizing handover performance, adjusting handoff parameters, AMR parameters and different timer values to minimize DCR in network. Traffic analysis and capacity planning Daily monitoring of OSS reports to analyze the Radio network performance to verify the Radio utilization, blocking (TCH/SDCCH), assign failures etc. & take corrective steps to achieve the optimum KPI. Knowledge of GPRS and EDGE Knowledge of drive test analysis of Voice and Data using TEMS V 8.1. Submission of KPI dashboard reports to management, Weekly-Presentations concerning Optimization progress, The position will be based in Africa and be a 2 month rolling contract
