FIREWALL ENGINEER
Requirements;
- Degree in IT or equivalent, with certifications in CCSE/RHCE/CCNA/CCNP/MCSE/CISSP would be advantageous.
- 4 years experience In-depth knowledge and expert proficiency in configuring and maintaining large scale enterprise firewalls, Proxy and IDS technologies.
- Must have strong understanding and knowledge on IP subnetting, network routing (OSPF,BGP, etc) and network security including End to End VPN Tunnel, NATing, Encryption, uRPF, IDS signatures, SSLv2/v3, reverse proxy, forward proxy, PPTP, IIS and DNS.
- Ability to understand Cisco switches and routers configuration to identify complex issue whether due to the network or security devices
- Proven skills and experience to troubleshoot complex problem on the firewall and proxy involve packet analyzing, troubleshoot dynamic routing issue and understanding the application flows
- Hand-on experience and knowledge in Unix and Windows platforms including administrating, debugging and scripting and added advantage
- Proven experience in configurating and implementing on the following security products:
- Checkpoint Secure Platform, Checkpoint Nokia, Checkpoint Resilience, Checkpoint VPN Edges, Cisco PIX/ASA, Microsoft ISA 2006, Netache, SNORT, Arcsight, Websense & Scansafe.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware problem in HP DL3xx series is a plus
Responsibilities;
- Be part of 2nd/3rd operation support team; managing and resolving escalated incident for Firewall, VPN, Proxy and IDS technologies;
- Performing root cause analysis, configuration, hardware break fix, and security investigation.
- Respond and implement change in efficient manner to resolve critical incident and situation by using tools, processes and systems as appropriate.
- Respond and analyze all the high priority security alerts triggered from the security devices in an efficient and timely manner
- Ensure that any potential problems such as performance degradation, reliability and security issues are addressed timely and proactively
NETWORK INTEGRATION ENGINEER
Requirements;
- Educated to degree level or similar professional qualification
- Cisco and ITIL practitioner
- Minimum 5 years recent experience in network design, configuration and planning roles (preferred CCNP)
- Strong hands-on experience in managing WAN networks and Cisco routers.
- Strong technical knowledge in WAN/LAN networking
- Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting CSS & Firewall.
Responsibilities;
- Ensure timely resolution and closure of all incident/problems reported.
- Adhere and comply to all security processes and procedures eg. Patch Mgmt, ID Mgmt, Security Health Checks, IES
- Adhere and complete to security calendar activities and ensure timely completion for RIB switches & CSS.
- Adhere and comply to Change and Problem Mgmt, SA&D, Inventory Mgmt, Network Operational process and procedures for RIB switches & CSS.
- Provide the necessary support in resolving network problems encountered on a timely manner and if need be escalate as appropriate
- To maintain issue log and ensure timely closure on any issue related to RIB Switches & CSS.
- Ensure all network devices are deployed/decommission are tracked and documented according to asset management process
- Ensure all network devices are deployed/decommission are updated accordingly in the CEP documentation
- Develop designs and configurations to various projects with minimal assistance.
- Provide technical consultancy and support to Implementation projects
- Prepare cost estimates (inclusive of hardware, services, labor, and operations).
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) services on designs and implementations
- Conduct and participate in design reviews
- Interprets network diagrams and documentation. Prepares understandable engineering drawings, tables, and documentation to standard
- Understands and follows Change Management Procedures and Practices
- Issue and co-ordinate design documentation and evaluation of project proposals
